It was requested by 
:3 Personally I don't think that this way of shading is shown right (by me), I show the easiest and the fastest (the laziest xD) way to cell shade a character, using a black colour only.
I use this method for comic pages
Even for shading I use different layers - one for body colour, the second for horns/claws/spikes, the third for membranes and the fourth for mane/hair (if there are mane/hair parts in the picture). I guess it's much better
I know real masters of cell shading, I wish I could shade like they do ;A;
There are a lot of cell shading tutorials, you can look for them >w< Probably this one isn't helpful at all D:
Beware of English mistakes
My Photoshop is CS4 Portable, but I don't think it would be useful only for this programme c:

would it be the same thing with cell shading if you do it with the scales? I'm trying to attempt to do so, but my dragon doesnt have any hair, so I was wondering if this technique would work the same way with scales, and if so, how?
