A Dream of Illusion - page 93 by RusCSI A Dream of Illusion - page 93 by RusCSI

Sorry for taking so long with this page, I had exams and things to do c:

Ahah, what a name for the forest xD

Anyway, this little weird creature is indeed a dhord, the species of which were mentioned by Io's parents on page 87.
A dhord is a mix of deer and horse, mostly of brown colour, but black may occur too, though a bit rare (1 in 100). Males are slightly bigger than females, but they're smaller than average horses. Males have horns, and females don't. They are very fast and impossible to catch while running (unless you're a cheetah), but with very tasty meat.
Dragons prefer to hunt them from above, yet dhords tend to stay somewhere safe and risk only while migrating (once per year or two).

The green guy is... well, he's a green guy. Not sure if I need to spoil it x3

Io, why ._.

---

This looks awfully complex, but you said it yourself that this story was pretty hard to understand right?

Whee new unseen page and what a timejump. Wasn't we in the cold region last time? And now Io is frightening Dhords xD
Oh by the way, can they be ridden? :3 They surely would be neat mounts!

Cold backgrounds are easier and faster to do x3 I don't like drawing forests.
Well, probably by some small creatures, maybe by kids or short people too. They have to be caught and tamed first, which isn't easy.

Oh i agree, all those damn trees. Snowflakes are easier to doodle.
I see ^^, so no Dhordmount for Jess then ^^; she'll be dissappointed.

These too ^^ especially since there is always a lot of different vegetation in the woods. Not only one or two kind of trees and bushes.

If uch a creature accidently finds it's way to Caldarah, maybe. Are they tasty?

Indeed.

Yes, they are. Dragons use fire to roast their meat and almost never eat it raw, though nobody knows who decided to do so first. Different fire makes the taste different, too :3
